“We’re Definitely Not Happy About It” – Sacramento Kings Star is Pissed With the Team’s 7-Game Losing Streak

Zach LaVine is not happy that the Sacramento Kings are on a seven-game losing streak, following their 113-111 road loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday evening, especially since they have a solid roster on paper.

At the time of writing, the Sacramento Kings have the worst road record in the NBA at 3-21. And at 12-37 overall, they’re level with the New Orleans Pelicans for the worst record in the league.

“We’re definitely not happy about it,” Zach LaVine said via The Sacramento Bee. “We got a bunch of All-Stars and Hall of Fame guys on the team, All-NBAs, Olympic Gold medalists, sixth man of the years, incredible role players, but it obviously hasn’t stuck, and our record shows it. As a group, we don’t like that at all, and we’re going to continue to go out there and still try to play and do our job.”

“We had a couple turnovers, we could execute,” DeMar DeRozan added. “We put them on the line too many times. We gave them too many opportunities, and we still had a chance to win the game. That’s what it all came down to, limiting their opportunities and taking advantage of ours.”

Sacramento Kings News: Domantas Sabonis explains why being in the trade rumors is “different” this time around

Domantas Sabonis recently admitted that the thought of getting traded feels “different” now since he has already built a family with his wife, Shashana. According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Sabonis has garnered interest from the Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, and the Chicago Bulls.

“It’s definitely different this time,” Sabonis explained. “I’ve got kids, so you’ve got to think about that, but on the court it’s the same thing. I forget everything once I’m in between those lines, and the goal is just to help your team win.”

“I feel like I’ve been in trade rumors a lot lately over the years, and even when I got to the Kings, so I’m going to do what I did last time and just ignore it,” he continued. “Ignore it and focus on what you can control.”
