Victor Wembanyama caused a stir on social media when the San Antonio Spurs center retweeted a clip as a way to blast the NBA for greeting Karl Malone a happy birthday recently.

“What?! See, that’s what we not finna do. Police, lock his his a** up! You need to be under the jail, arrest him immediately,” the video said.
Wembanyama is probably aware of the hate Malone has received for impregnating a 13-year-old Gloria Bell during his time at Louisiana Tech. The former Utah Jazz forward was never charged with statutory rape for having a relationship with then-minor Bell, which may have irked the San Antonio Spurs star.

On the court, Malone has one of the most decorated resumes the league has ever seen. He is a two-time league MVP, a 14-time NBA All-Star, a two-time NBA All-Star Game MVP, and an 11-time All-NBA First Team member, among others. San Antonio Spurs fans hope that Wembanyama can achieve something similar in his NBA career.
San Antonio Spurs News: Key New York Knicks player was left “impressed” by Victor Wembanyama
New York Knicks forward Guerschon Yabusele has known Victor Wembanyama even before he joined the San Antonio Spurs, as they were teammates on the French national team. The burly forward is amazed by Wembanyama’s transformation throughout the years.

“The only thing that I was worried about was that he was really skinny. I was like: ‘I know he is going to put up some muscle. When he (gets) to the league, he is going to change his body. He’s not going to stay like this.’ I knew this was coming, but I was like: ‘OK, he’s really, really skinny.’ But what impressed me was (his) skills,” Yabusele said about Wembanyama on the Roommates Show.
“Who does that?” he continued. “You’re just too tall to be doing stuff like that. When he changed his body and went to the league, I saw his transformation. I was like: ‘OK, Wemby is the next one, for sure.'”
