Victor Wembanyama and Keldon Johnson raised eyebrows on Thursday night, as both of them sported a bald look during the San Antonio Spurs’ 119-101 win against the Milwaukee Bucks. According to Wembanyama, going bald was something he had planned for a while.
“I have been having this in the back of my head for a little bit, and the fact that (Keldon) wanted to do it as well just convinced me. I felt like we had to lock in real quick because we had been losing a little bit,” Wembanyama told reporters postgame.
“I told my teammates I was gonna bald my head. And then last night, Vic was like, ‘Yo, let’s bald our head.’ And I was like, ‘Sh*t, let’s do it. ‘ I mean, I’ve been looking for a reason to do it,” Johnson told The Athletic’s Jared Weiss. “Vic cut my hair, and I bald his hair… I might be a barber when it’s all said and done.”
Both San Antonio Spurs were instrumental in last night’s blowout win, as Wembanyama had 22 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, and five three-pointers on 7-for-12 shooting, while Johnson added seven points, eight rebounds, and three steals off the bench.

San Antonio Spurs News: Victor Wembanyama hurts knee in win vs. Milwaukee Bucks
San Antonio Spurs fans collectively held their breath when Victor Wembanyama went to the locker room after banging knees with Giannis Antetokounmpo early in the first period on Thursday night. Fortunately for the team, the Frenchman finished the game and showed no ill effects from his knee contusion.
“I did not think it was serious because it was just knee-to-knee, and I have this dozens of times, but never against a guy like this,” Wembanyama said. “It was a little more than usual, but it was a benign thing.”
“I talked to him on the floor when he first went down,” Stephon Castle added. “He said he didn’t think it was serious, so I knew he was coming back to the game, and (he) played the game that he played. We weren’t too worried about it.”
