    Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Sabally is enjoying her time with a few weeks more before the 2025 season of the WNBA tips off. While in Miami, Sabally has been supporting tennis superstar Frances Tiafoe, who continues to compete in the Miami Open.

    In a series of stories on her Instagram profile, Satou Sabally shared photos from the Miami Open in a match where Frances Tiafoe was playing.

    “Another day another Match!” she wrote in her caption.

    Frances Tiafoe recently faced Arthur Fils in the third round of the 2025 Miami Open. It was an intense match, with Fils ultimately defeating Tiafoe in a thrilling three-set battle: 7-6 (11), 5-7, 6-2.

    Frances Tiafoe, a dynamic and exciting tennis player, is known for his captivating personality and electrifying style. His consistent high-level performance has made him a fan favorite on the ATP Tour, leading to a career-high ranking of World No. 10 in June 2023.

    Tiafoe has proven his ability to win on various surfaces, with ATP singles titles on clay and grass courts. He’s also a force in major tournaments, reaching the US Open semifinals in both 2022 and 2024, making him a consistent threat at the highest level of competition.

    Frances Tiafoe’s net worth is estimated to be around $8 million as of 2025. His wealth primarily comes from his tennis career, including prize money and endorsement deals with major brands like Nike, Yonex, and Tag Heuer. Tiafoe has also earned over $11.7 million in prize money throughout his career.

    Satou Sabally Feels “Honored” to Jhoin Mercury

    In a recent interview with Vogue Magazine, Satou Sabally talked about her feelings about getting traded and landing with the Phoenix Mercury, something she admitted she feels “honored” about.

    “I could not be more honored to join the Phoenix Mercury,” Sabally said. “This is truly a legendary organization and I’m humbled to follow in the footsteps of the many iconic players that have put on the Mercury uniform. I’m so incredibly motivated by the way ownership and the entire organization invest in its players.” 

    “We get to practice in the best facilities and it’s clear that everyone who is a part of this team is totally committed to delivering a title to this city. I’m excited to play in front of Phoenix’s fans and do everything I can to contribute to this winning culture.”

    Satou Sabally, during the 2024 WNBA season, averaged 17.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
