Savannah James was happy after hearing about her son Bryce James’ commitment to Arizona University this Wednesday. She gave a message to Bryce as he continued pursuing his dream of entering the NBA.

Bryce posted on his Instagram account, saying he’s “100% Committed” to playing for the Arizona Wildcats. The 17-year-old guard received praise in the comments, such as from his older brother, Bronny:

    “Yessirrrrrrr,” Bronny James commented.

Savannah and LeBron James, Bryce’s parents, congratulated their son:

“So proud of you @_justbryce!! 💙❤️ Your silent hustle has definitely not gone unnoticed!! I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait to cheer you on through this journey! 🐻 Down! 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️” Savannah James posted on her Instagram account.

Savannah James is a loving supporter as her middle child takes another step in his basketball career. Last December, James candidly shared her emotions as Bryce graduated from Sierra Canyon High School.

“Another one is going to be leaving the nest, so that’s kind of crazy for me. All the emotions but it’s fine, I’m good,” James said via ESPN.

Bryce, a four-star prospect, also had offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Duquesne Dukes. Ultimately, he picked the Wildcats, making him the second prospect in the team’s 2025 recruiting class.

During Nike’s Strive for Greatness grassroots program last spring, James averaged 6.9 points and 2.2 rebounds, shooting 39% from the field. He also played in the Nike Peach Jam, averaging 5.6 points, and was invited to Team USA’s under-17 national training camp last June.

Savannah James has raised two sons, Bronny and Bryce, destined to follow in their father LeBron’s footsteps and become talented players in the league. Perhaps the three James could unite on the court someday.

Savannah James congratulates Bronny after another impressive G-League performance

Savannah James is a devoted fan and mother of her children, particularly as her firstborn Bronny made a near double-double against the Cleveland Chargers last Saturday night.

In her previous Instagram story, James posted purple and gold hearts along with the South Bay Lakers’ post showing Bronny’s impressive 23 points, nine rebounds, and five assists against the Chargers.

Despite the Lakers’ narrow loss, Bronny’s performance continues to grab everyone’s attention, who long perceived the 20-year-old point guard to be a near failure in succeeding his father’s talent, LeBron.

Bronny and the Lakers will face the Mexico City Capitanes on January 3.
