Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes went down with an ankle injury during their most recent game against the New York Knicks, and was out for the rest of the game.

During the third quarter of the game, with the Raptors leading at 73-68, Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns jumped for the ring hoping to make the basket, when Scottie Barnes and Raprotrs center Jakob Poeltl jumped to block the attempt.

Unfortunately, Barnes collided with Towns and the two fell. Towns was also hurt, but Barnes obviously had it worse, as he stayed on the floor and was heard screaming in pain saying, “I can’t feel my foot.”

Barnes was eventually sent to the locker room and was ruled out for the rest of the game. He finished the game giving the Raptors 15 points, five rebounds, and three assists. The Raptors eventually lost the game to the Knicks, with a final score of 113-108.

Scottie Barnes has been cleared from his X-ray on his ankle but would undergo another evaluation. While there are still no injury status report for the following weeks, most fans expect his recovery to last multiple weeks.

While some have given up on their parlays entirely, others are calling for sportsbooks to reboot their bet on Barnes.

“Prayers up to Scottie Barnes but please reboot him,” one user posted.

In betting, a reboot in a parlay means that if the player who is part of the parlay bet gets injured or cannot continue playing the game, that leg of the parlay gets canceled or “rebooted,” and would be removed from the parlay as if it never existed. This is to protect the other legs of the bet should an unexpected injury happen.

So far this season, Scottie Barnes is averaging 21 points per game, 8.7 rebounds, and 7.8 assists.
