Shaquille O’Neal has never been shy when it comes to dealing with gossip, and this week he showed why he’s still one of the most entertaining personalities online. After rumors surfaced linking him to OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain, the NBA legend fired back with a sharp response that immediately went viral.

“‘I don’t (date) that young but I will date your mom and give u a brother,” O’Neal wrote on Instagram on Tuesday via TMZ.

That wasn’t his only shot. Shaquille O’Neal also cleared up how the two even crossed paths in the first place. “I was djing at Encore Beach Club, she came to my party, dummy stop tryna create rumors, don’t make me slap you dude,” O’Neal added.

The post came after fans flooded comment sections with speculation that O’Neal and Rain were romantically involved. The chatter started when Rain celebrated her 21st birthday at O’Neal’s DJ set in Las Vegas. For O’Neal, though, the moment was nothing more than an interaction with a fan.

At 52, Shaquille O’Neal continues to dominate both sports culture and entertainment feeds. Whether he’s in the booth or behind a microphone, he knows how to shut down the noise — and do it with a punchline only he could deliver.

OnlyFans Creator Sophie Rain Responds To Shaquille O’Neal Dating Rumors

After Shaquille O’Neal shut down dating speculation, Sophie Rain has spoken out herself to clear the air about what really happened in Las Vegas.

“I did not think my 21st would go this way,” Rain said, via Where Is The Buzz. “Shaq (O’Neal) was so gracious, so real. He made me feel like I was the center of attention, which is crazy to say because it was my birthday. People are always gonna talk online, but the fact remains I had the time of my life. I’m gonna remember this birthday, not for the comments, but for the moment of pure shock when I turned around and saw Shaq.”

Her words line up with O’Neal’s version of events — that it was nothing more than a chance encounter during his set at Encore Beach Club. For Rain, who is only beginning to build her public profile, the viral rumors have been overwhelming.

The discussion and rumor mills would always flock to anything that might have potential meaning even if there’s none to find. Shaquile O’Neal, with his large presence in person and online, will always be the subject of discussion wherever he goes. Sophie Rain only had one thing in mind, that she was happy that night. And honestly, aside from that the noise don’t even matter.
