Angel Reese brought the heat to a freezing Berlin courtside.

The Chicago Sky star flew across the Atlantic to support boyfriend Wendell Carter Jr. at the NBA Berlin Game 2026. But her bold fashion choices led to endless chatter online.

Reese posed pregame before taking a courtside seat in Berlin. She chose a black-and-blue plushy vest and thigh-high animal-print boots to make her game-day look insane, which is getting attention across social media.

The NBA’s official Instagram featured her appearance with fire emojis, where fellow WNBA players hyped her up in the comments. Kahleah Copper was among those who called her look “great.”

Reese’s mom also joined her courtside, rocking similar vibes. Her boyfriend didn’t let her head down as Magic defeated Grizzlies 118-111 at Uber Arena. Carter Jr. posted nine points and six rebounds in the international hardwood.

The WNBA is in its offseason now. So, unlike other stars, Bayou Barbie is making the most of her vacation by traveling here and there. She captured every memory from her recent trip to Germany and shared them on her Instagram profile.

Everything was good until the 23-year-old appeared with the unusual fluffy Berlin look. Yes, she looked different, but it didn’t work for many. Shortly after her appearance went viral, she witnessed many fashion critics writing files in the comment section.

NBA Fans Don’t Like Angel Reese’s Outlook

Social media lit up with vicious takes on Reese’s courtside look because majority of the people this time cannot connect with her unique fashion sense.

“Why is she famous again?” one fan wrote.

Another added, “Thats a damn big sloth.”

The third shared, “She is one FUGLY flicker.”

A fourth one claimed, “Some chick that escaped from the zoo.”

The fifth fan added, “The delusion in this Trotter is off the charts.”

Reese has dealt with constant criticism throughout her career. From her LSU championship celebration to her WNBA rookie season, haters al;wasy pointed fingers at her.

Her reputation was mainly built on by clapping back at critics and owning her brand unapologetically. Her crazy look in Berlin is just another moment added to her list of controversies.
