Former ESPN and Fox Sports commentator Skip Bayless is getting absolutely blasted for a terrible take on Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton’s injury situation.
Haliburton suffered a calf strain in Game 5, prompting questions about whether the star player would play in Game 6. Haliburton played 23 minutes, scoring 14 points and adding five assists in the Pacers’ 120-109 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder to force a Game 7.
Indiana Pacers PG Tyler Haliburton’s injury was questioned

During Sunday’s game, Bayless took a couple shots at Haliburton, appearing to question if he had a serious injury.
“Man, Haliburton looks SO HURT. That calf must be killing him. He’s just limping up and down the court, isnt he?,’ Bayless posted on X.
Bayless voiced a conspiracy that Indiana planted news of the injury so the Thunder wouldn’t guard Halliburton as hard in Game 6.
“The Pacers brilliantly took the big-game pressure off Haliburton, who routinely no-shows, by planting the “injury excuse” that the media swallowed whole,” he posted.

By the end of the first quarter, Haliburton exited the game due to an Achilles injury.

“Truly one of the worst tweets ever. My goodness.,” posted another.
“You’re a disappointment of a journalist, you know that right?,” asked a poster.
“You continue to be one of the worst people. You’re not enjoyable to watch or listen to. You’ve jumped the shark. You’re just an angry old man at this point,” posted another.
“What is wrong with you? You should delete this now,” urged a fan.
“The sad thing is I’m looking at time stamps to do this just for the click. This is who you are as a person skip. It’s pretty sad way to go out my man,” wrote another.
