Even though the Chicago Sky didn’t make it far during the previous WNBA season, the development of Angel Reese was a shining light for the franchise. With the young forward doing the work this offseason, a lot of WNBA fans will be looking forward to what can happen in her sophomore year.

Reese is making headlines this offseason as she shares her commitment to improving her game. After a challenging rookie season cut short by a hairline wrist fracture that required surgery, Reese is back in the gym, showing fans that she remains focused and determined. Despite the downtime from competitive play, she has kept her presence felt, notably through her podcast and social media engagement.

Throughout her rookie campaign, Reese showcased her remarkable rebounding skills, consistently recording double-doubles. However, she acknowledges there are areas for improvement, particularly in finishing around the rim and enhancing her jump shot. The offseason presents a valuable opportunity for her to refine these skills, and her recent training efforts signal a proactive approach to her development.

The anticipation surrounding Reese is palpable, especially among Chicago Sky fans and her new head coach, Tyler Marsh. Her dedication to honing her craft is likely to pay dividends when the next season rolls around. Fortunately for her supporters, they won’t have to wait long to see her back in action, as Reese is set to participate in the inaugural edition of Unrivaled starting in January.

While she has been criticized about her opinion on the elections and wardrobe choices, no one can doubt the amount of work she’s putting in during the offseason. This can be seen in a tweet she shared on her official Instagram account.

“Focused on the results, not for show. Slow grind. Living through the good & the bad but this 💩 for me!” Reese posted.

Recently, Reese posted a series of photos on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of her training sessions. Accompanied by a motivational caption, she emphasized her dedication to the process rather than seeking attention. Her tweet has resonated with her followers, who appreciate her authenticity and drive.

Her journey is a testament to resilience and the importance of continuous improvement, setting a powerful example for aspiring players in the WNBA and beyond.
