Sophie Cunningham is once again turning heads online — this time, not for her fiery takes or tough play, but for her new kicks. The Indiana Fever guard hit the court rocking Damian Lillard’s newest signature sneakers, the Dame X “Electric Pink”, and fans couldn’t stop talking about it.
The post blew up after Cunningham shared a photo on Instagram, showing her putting in work on the practice floor while wearing the flashy pink shoes. She’s just recently been cleared for more physical activity after suffering a torn MCL in her right knee back in August.

“Come get spicy like me with the Dame X Electric Pink kicks,” Cunningham wrote in her caption.

It didn’t take long before Dame himself noticed. Lillard dropped three fire emojis in the comments, clearly loving the look. Despite being sidelined this season with a torn Achilles, the Portland Trail Blazers star still made waves with his tenth signature shoe, which launched last month for just $95 — a rare, affordable move for a big-name sneaker line.
Sophie Cunningham’s brand keeps growing
While rehabbing her knee, Cunningham hasn’t just been watching from the sidelines. She’s been building her name — fast. The Mizzou legend gained major attention during the WNBA season for standing up for Caitlin Clark, earning the reputation as Clark’s on-court “enforcer.” That moment helped her explode in popularity across social media and the league.

Since then, she’s launched her own podcast, Show Me Something, and locked in several sponsorship deals, including partnerships with Adidas, Ring, and Arby’s, according to Athlon Sports. Cunningham even appeared on Good Morning America last month to promote Arby’s and the WNBA, showing her personality and helping push the league to a wider audience.
Now heading into free agency, Cunningham’s future is wide open. She’s expressed interest in staying with the Fever, but also made it clear she’s chasing a big contract — the kind that could help her finally buy her own home.
With WNBA CBA talks dragging on and a possible lockout still in play, the offseason is shaping up to be wild. But one thing’s certain — Sophie Cunningham knows how to stay in the spotlight, whether she’s on the court or off it.
