Sophie Cunningham is sidelined with injury, but she’s still making headlines both on and off the court.
Ahead of the Fever’s matchup on Tuesday, the guard turned heads with her game-day look, repping Off Season, the fashion brand run by Kristin Juszczyk—wife of NFL fullback Kyle Juszczyk. Cunningham showed up in a Fever-inspired outfit featuring a denim pencil skirt, blue long-sleeve tied at the back, white sneakers, and a custom Off Season corset stamped with the team’s logo across the front.
The bold piece drew attention away—at least for a moment—from the knee brace she’s still sporting while recovering from an MCL tear. Kristin was quick to hype up the look, jumping into Cunningham’s Instagram comments with, “@sophie_cham you are that girllll!! 😍😍.” She also boosted Off Season’s account on her story, teasing, “Coming soon!!”
On her own “Show Me Something” podcast, Cunningham shared she’ll be “one of the first WNBA players” to debut Juszczyk’s new collection.

Sophie Cunningham Brings Bold Cowgirl Vibes While Clark, Fever Teammates Keep It Real About Her Return
But that wasn’t the only time this week Sophie Cunningham had the Fever community buzzing. She also posted a throwback from a Phoenix shoot with @yatesbuickgmc, going full western with a cowboy hat, boots, and black lingerie layered under a leather jacket. The caption read: “Back when my knee was healthy.”

Naturally, her teammates chimed in. Caitlin Clark joked, “Jeez Sophie. Can’t like this.” Sydney Colson added, “Girl u barely showin the knee.”
That knee, of course, is the real storyline. Cunningham went down on August 17 against the Connecticut Sun, tearing her right MCL and becoming the third Fever guard ruled out for the season, joining Colson and Aari McDonald.
The timing stings. Cunningham had been a steady contributor in her first 13 games with Indiana—knocking down outside shots, defending, and giving the team reliable minutes. She wasn’t putting up flashy numbers, but her presence mattered for a Fever squad battling to lock up a playoff spot.

For now, she’s making waves off the floor, balancing rehab with brand partnerships and social buzz. Whether it’s a custom corset on game day or a cowgirl throwback blowing up Instagram, Sophie Cunningham is keeping her name in the conversation—even while the Fever push forward without her.
