Sophie Cunningham has never been afraid to take risks — on or off the court. Just days after admitting she’d developed sensitivities to beef, pork, dairy, and gluten, the Indiana Fever forward was caught indulging in a late-night craving: pizza.

She shared the moment on her Instagram Story, posting a clip of herself downing a large slice. Judging by her caption, though, the post-meal vibes weren’t ideal.
“ask me how my stomach is doing,” Cunningham joked.
While rehabbing from her MCL injury, Cunningham discovered she’d grown intolerant to certain foods, which made enjoying meals a little tricky. Cheese, in particular, turned out to be her biggest problem — even though it’s one of her favorites.
“The ones I really am like worried about is the dairy and gluten. Like, I’m not kidding, that’s in every meal that I eat,” she said. “I put cheese on everything. It’s like one of my favorite things. So, maybe that’s what’s wrong with me.”
She added, “I don’t know. But, maybe I really am about to get fit and live my best life. So, hell yeah.”
“Call me Angel Reese”: Sophie Cunningham’s sense of humor stays undefeated
Even with her growing list of food restrictions, Cunningham still manages to keep things light. On Friday, she talked about her new diet and playfully brought up Angel Reese in the mix.

“A huge one I forgot to mention is gluten, which is in every carb pretty much possible, and I know they make like gluten-free stuff, but that [expletive] tastes weird to me,” she said.
She continued,
“I can still eat chicken, that’s good. Yeah, I feel like I’m going to be kind of turning into a rabbit, so I don’t know, I guess I’m going to turn into a Victoria’s Secret model. Call me Angel Reese.”
Earlier this month, Reese made headlines as the first athlete to walk in a Victoria’s Secret runway show, joining Olympic medalist Sunisa Lee and soccer icon Megan Rapinoe.
As for Cunningham, her focus remains on getting healthy after her MCL injury against the Connecticut Sun back in August — pizza and all.
