Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham gave her honest take on the news of football icon Cirtiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend getting engaged with a big ring.
In a new episode of her podcast “Show Me Something,” Sophie Cunningham talked about a wide range of topics, including the news of football icon Cirtiiano Ronaldo finally getting engaged to his partner. For the Fever star, the size of the ring is not something that suits her taste.

“Honestly, not a fan of it,” Cunningham said. “It’s too big [for me]. Good for them. Like, I know they have a lot of money, they seem like really good people, but that is just like sometimes it’s too much.”
The Fever star also added that the news of the engagement was a shock to her, mainly due to the idea she had all this time that they had been engaged already. She also noted that if someone were to give her a ring that big, she would question if that person really knows her.
Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, have officially announced their engagement after eight years together. Rodríguez revealed the news on Instagram with a striking photo of the pair, her hand adorned with a dazzling ring reportedly crafted from some of the rarest and most exquisite diamonds in the world.

Sophie Cunningham Slams Officiating Over Paige Bueckers “Whistle”
Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham did not hold back in her criticism of WNBA officiating after a razor-thin 81-80 defeat to the Dallas Wings on Tuesday. Speaking on the latest episode of her “Show Me Something” podcast, Cunningham singled out what she saw as overly generous foul calls in favor of Dallas rookie guard Paige Bueckers.
While praising Bueckers’ talent and potential, she argued the officiating made it nearly impossible to defend the former UConn star, likening the whistle disparity to how NFL legends Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes have at times been protected by referees.

“I love Paige to death, do not get me wrong. I think she’s a hell of a player and would love to play with her one day, but those refs were giving her every freaking whistle last night. Like, you literally couldn’t touch her. And that s*** is so annoying to me,” Cunningham said. “If you’re gonna do that, then give it to our guards. Like, I just hate the inconsistency.”
Sophie Cunningham said she understood that standout rookies might earn some favorable whistles, but took issue with what she called “ticky-tacky” fouls that she felt Bueckers had not yet earned through her professional résumé. Labeling the treatment “annoying” and inconsistent, she contrasted it with the calls Fever guards received.
