    The 74th NBA All-Star game will be played Sunday night in Golden State. Friday and Saturday night events are action-packed with both veterans and first-time players. All new formats will prove to hopefully be a hit. The All-Star game on Sunday will feature Global Stars, Young Stars, and OG’s.

    Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

    This new format will feature two teams with two coaches each, also each team will feature a WNBA star, with two-time Atlanta Dream All-Star Allisha Gray and WNBA Champion and Golden State Valkyries forward Kayla Thornton on opposing rosters. The two coaches for team Bonds are former MLB slugger Barry Bonds and Rapper 2 Chainz. Team Rice will consist of, Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice and Influencer Khaby Lame. Here’s how the two rosters shape up.

    The Rising Stars game showcases some of the NBA’s best young talent. Made up of four teams with game 1 featuring Team C vs. Team T, game 2 Team G League vs. Team M, game 3 winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2. The honorary coaches are Tim Hardaway Sr., Mitch Richmond, Chris Mullin, and Jeremy Lin will coach Team G league. Each team drafted their players with Amen Thompson going first overall to Team M.

    The Starry 3-Point Contest

    The 3-point contest will see two-time defending champ and Oakland native Damian Lillard looking to make it three straight. Darius Garland could be the favorite to beat Lillard, he ranks in the top 10 in both 3-pointers made and 3-point %.

    AT&T Slam Dunk Contest

    Mac McClung looks to become the first player to win three straight Slam Dunk contests. This year it will be voted by four judges & a fan vote. NBA ID members around the world can submit their votes in real time via the NBA App. The average score will be revealed live by popular basketball creator Jesser, who will serve as the NBA ID Member Rep. In the event of a tie popular basketball creator Jesser, will provide a tie-breaking pick on behalf of the NBA ID community.

    The 74th NBA All-Star Game Lights Up San Francisco

    For the first time, the All-Star game will be a mini-tournament consisting of four teams. The first team to 40 will win. Game 1 is Kenny’s Young Stars vs. Chuck’s Global Stars. Game 2 has Shaq’s OG’s vs. Candace’s Rising Stars. The semifinal winners will advance to meet in the championship.

    Candace Parker will be the GM for the winning team from the Castrol Rising Stars. It all starts at 7 p.m., ET on ESPN, TNT, and TruTV. The Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will be first followed by The Castrol Riding Stars. Saturday’s events will start at 8 p.m. ET starting with the Kia Skills Challenge, Starry 3-point Contest, and then ending with the AT&T Slam Dunk Contest. TNT and TruTV will have the coverage.

    The 74th NBA All-Star Game will start at 8 p.m. ET also on TNT & TruTV.
