Golden State Warriors veteran Steph Curry was highly ecstatic about winning his first gold medal in the recent Paris Olympics. This achievement bolstered his much-established legacy, so he took the time to imbue it into social media. This move, however, garnered tons of rumors and guesses.

Curry changed his bio on his Instagram account from “And, oh yeah, Guard from the @Warriors.” to “And…Olympic Gold Medalist.” This message persists currently. Because of the lingering hearsay from many people, the four-time NBA champion decided it was time to clear those false allegations. In The Circuit, he responded:

“I was just proud to be an Olympian!”

After the Paris Olympics, people became suspicious of the two-time NBA MVP’s next moves for the next season. They looked at Curry’s usual relationship with LeBron James, who shed sweat and tears carrying Team USA, especially in its final matches.

Curry and James, despite being the fiercest of rivals once in numerous NBA finals, share many similarities. Both were born in the same town and eventually became one of their generation’s greatest league players.

When the Davidson Wildcats alumnus changed his Instagram bio, people thought he might be considering switching sides in the NBA. His new destination is James’ team, the Los Angeles Lakers. After all, Curry had a dreadful recent season with the Warriors.

The 2022 NBA Finals MVP significantly contributed to Team USA throughout the Olympics. In the particular semifinal match against the Serbians, Curry heated intensely. He scored 36 points, shooting twelve from 19 attempts. Out of 14 three-point attempts, he made nine.

Curry played 140 minutes, scored 89 points, had 15 assists, and had 19 rebounds in all six of Team USA’s six games. He averaged 14.8 points, 2.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds. His three-point average is lower than 50%, due to his poor performance in the early games.

Steph Curry continues to show his determination to stay with the Warriors until the end.

In the same interview, Steph Curry proved that despite his team’s current woes, he’ll remain with it until he retires. He plans to end his legacy with the Warriors, like when he started on the same team.

The ten-time NBA All-Star recently signed a three-year extension contract with his current team. He rejected the rumors that he’s finally leaving the Warriors for another team, like the Lakers.

People began constructing these allegations after Steph Curry’s almost-eternal comrade, Klay Thompson, switched sides with the Dallas Mavericks.

However, Steph Curry continues to remain steadfast and loyal to the Warriors.
