Golden State Warriors veteran superstar Steph Curry has been declared out for injury for at least two weeks, and fans and analysts have started asking if the veteran shooting guard might be looking at the end of an era.
Over at X, former Cleveland Cavaliers star Channing Fyre got honest about the news of Steph Curry being out for the next two weeks over a quad injury. For the former LeBron James teammate, fans may be looking at the beginning of the end.

“Steph having ankle issues might be a sign that it’s over,” Fyre said.

In a recent interview, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said that while the absence of Curry would have an impact on the team as it goes through the regular season, the roster would have to do its best to “hold down the fort” until their superstar recovers.
“It obviously changes everything, our rotations, how we’re playing, who we’re playing through, so we’ll see,” Kerr told reporters. “When I heard it was a quad I was actually kind of relieved, better than an ankle or a knee, so hopefully he can recover quickly and be okay.”
Curry is expected to have a re-evaluation after the two-week period, with a new decision on his availability to follow afterwards.
Former NBA Star Calls Steph Curry The Best “Scoring Guard”
Former NBA star David West, speaking about Steph Curry’s place in basketball history, argued that Curry should be regarded not just as an all-time point guard but as the greatest “scoring guard” the game has seen, praising his sustained ability to produce high-volume, efficient scoring from long range.

West noted that, unlike many modern elite scorers who rely heavily on drawing fouls and free throws, Curry’s scoring comes primarily from shot-making and three-point volume. This style has kept him among the league’s top long-range threats even deep into his career.
“Well, I think Steph carries the position of a point guard, but Steph probably defined what a scoring guard is. He’s not a shooting guard, he’s a scoring-league guard. Anytime you got a guy averaging over 30 (points) at any position, he’s a scorer,” West said. “I’d probably say Steph played the point guard position, but Steph is probably the greatest scoring guard we’ve seen.”
