Many have praised LeBron James for his longevity on the court. The Los Angeles Lakers star is soon to play in his 23rd NBA season as a 40-year-old star. The main key to his longevity is his work ethic. His co-stars, the media and opponents have seen the dedication he has displayed in taking care of his body. On Tuesday’s episode of “Mind the Game,” special guest Steph Curry had high praise for James’ discipline.
Throughout his time in the league, James has never experienced a season-ending or career-changing injury. According to past reports, James invests so much money on his body to keep him in top shape. It’s been reported that the four-time champion spends around $1.5 million on his body every year.
This is why he’s still at his peak physical form, avoiding any serious setbacks.

During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Curry witnessed how LeBron James took care of his body, For the first time in their careers, they became teammates as they suited up for Team USA.
“I think we’re gonna hype each other up a lot, but walking into the locker room last year during the Olympic journey, we hadn’t played with each other,” Curry said. “I had just heard about the work ethic and the sheer volume of time and how he takes care of his body, but when you see somebody on that level, couldn’t beat him to the gym in the morning.
