Four-time NBA champion and legendary basketball athlete Steph Curry has reaffirmed his loyalty to the Golden State Warriors and explained why he’s passionate about his chances of winning a fifth NBA title with the franchise. To the 38-year-old, cementing his legacy with sturdy loyalty would tell greatly on his already illustrious career.
“I never would see myself be in a situation where I’m chasing another championship anywhere else but here. There’s a certain mentality that we’re all trying to figure this out together. But it doesn’t pacify the desire to win,” Curry says, per a Fullcourtpass report.
Fortunately, ESPN might support Curry’s ambitions after assigning the least NBA championship-winning odds to Golden State.
Steph Curry’s Fairytale Career with Golden State Continues

Since debuting with the San Francisco-based franchise in 2009, Curry has remained a Golden State Warrior, going on to win four championships and multiple recognitions. Rejecting taunting offers from rival teams, the 2022 NBA Finals MVP winner has sought rare loyalty and unique legendary status at Golden State.
Opening up to Howard Beck about his motivation to win another NBA title, the legendary point guard admitted he’s being ambitious, while alluding to the implications of winning a fifth title in NBA history.
“If we get in the mix, we always feel like we can get it done,” Curry says. And by “get it done,” Curry’s referring to another championship, his fifth, which would place him and Draymond Green alongside NBA Greats like Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, and Tim Duncan. We know what number five means in terms of who we would join, from a legacy perspective.”
Curry is putting aside the historical challenges of the Warriors’ roster since their imperial peak. Curry is reportedly looking to the loyalty of stars like Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant for inspiration. Tim Duncan spent his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs, while Kobe Bryant’s loyalty to the Los Angeles Lakers remains a major part of his legacy. Curry would hope his future with the Golden State has a similar ending – with at least a fifth championship for good measure.
