Golden State Warriors star veteran Steph Curry found a defender on one former NFL star turned analyst, in light of a recent hot statement one TikToker made about his wife, Ayesha Curry.
In one of the recent episodes of the podcast “4th and 1,” former NFL star Cam Newton talked about a recent spicy take that one TikToker gave towards Ayesha Curry, wife of Warriors star Steph Curry. In his piece, Newton shut down the TikToker’s comment that put a bad light on the relationship of the two.

“Let’s come up with a rule and it goes as I say, ‘If you can’t relate, there’s no debate.’ Can’t relate, don’t debate. If you can’t relate, you shouldn’t be talking about this,” Newton said. “Oh boy, pump your brakes because you’re tripping. You can’t bag Ayesha. You can’t play with Steph.”

The statement was in response to the video of a TikToker BooWoodz, who talked about how he thinks Ayesha Curry truly felt for her husband.
“I don’t know if anybody else noticed this, but Ayesha Curry is putting in maximum effort to let the world know that she is struggling with trying not to cheat on her husband,” BooWoodz said. “And because she can just smell an opportunity to embarrass this man because she gets on every interview telling everybody about just how frustrated she is with his success, how frustrated she is that women desire him. How much she wished it was her being lusted after by people.”
Steph and Ayesha have been married for more than 14 years now. During their 10th anniversary, theri had their daughter, Riley, officiate their renewal of vows.
Trainer Makes Scary Steph Curry Claim
As the Golden State Warriors enter the 2025 NBA season with star Stephen Curry, his trainer, Brandon Payne, said the first-step quickness and explosiveness of the 37-year-old were the best he’d been. Payne mentioned the development of Curry’s athleticism leading up to Warriors’ training camp.

Payne believes Curry’s enhanced decision-making and quicker processing have also trumped any decline in age. Therefore, having great conditioning of his body, combined with increased processing speed, has “quickened” both his mind and body, as Payne indicates, despite his aging.
Payne also confirmed Curry focused on adding significant muscle during the offseason to better handle physical contact, particularly when navigating screens, signaling a deliberate effort to sustain his effectiveness against more physical defenses. The trainer emphasized that continual work on both physical traits and cognitive processing has kept Curry competitive at an advanced stage of his career.
With training camp approaching, Payne’s assessment frames Steph Curry as both physically prepared and mentally sharper, a pairing that could help the Warriors preserve their offensive edge as Curry continues to age into his late 30s.
