ESPN and Stephen A. Smith, in particular, are campaigning against Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic in his quest for this year’s MVP. At least, this is what one analyst thinks as he got honest about the issue.
In his appearance on Jason Whitlock’s program “Fearless,” analyst Jay Skapinac talked about his perceived “hate quest” against Nikola Jokic, led by Stephen A. Smith.
“I think the guy is actually until recently has been vilified by large sectors of the the mainstream media particularly ESPN for whatever reason has been on this like hate quest of Nicole Jokic and it’s been led by Stephen A Smith.”
Stephen A. Smith has voted for Nicole Jokic one time in the last five years for MVP. But he goes beyond that. in the last three years he has been openly campaigning against Nikola Jokic.
So when I see this I feel like I have to get on my little white horse and go to go to battle for Nikola and try to defend the veracity of what he’s accomplishing right now.

The MVP race between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) and Nikola Jokic has been one of the most thrilling contests in recent NBA history. Averaging 32.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, SGA has been instrumental in propelling the Thunder to a dominant season, with the team on track to achieve over 65 wins.

On the other hand Denver Nuggets center Jokic has been delivering historic performances throughout the season as well. With averages of 29.7 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game, Jokić continues to redefine the role of a big man in basketball.
Stephen A. Smith vs LeBron James Feud Called out by Fellow Analyst
In a recent interview with OutKick, ESPN analyst and commentator Michael Wilbon got honest about his take on the the feud between LeBron James and analyst Stephen A. Smith—and he did not like it one bit
“I hate all of this,” Wilbon said. “It’s too much. I want to sit down with all of these athletes and discuss all of this. LeBron is too important. He has too much credibility, which he earned, and stature, which he earned, to worry about what is said about him. Same with Steph Curry. Their voices matter. They matter to me. They matter to young kids.”
“This whole LeBron and Stephen A. Smith stuff, I just can’t. Enough. Stop it. I’m too old for it. I am too old to consume it.”
