Stephen Curry Shares His Honest Opinion on 1 Controversial 2024 Elections Candidate

Politics has always been a sensitive matter for Americans to discuss, regardless of their standing in life. It’s unsurprising to see public figures like Stephen Curry have strong opinions about the people running the country.

Folks are already engaged in heated discussions as everyone prepares for the presidential elections in November. Some may feel they’re forced to choose between two terrible options when the campaign trail started for Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

The landscape for the 2024 race has changed significantly over the past month: Trump skyrockets in popularity after surviving an attempt to his life, while Kamara Harris is the heavy favorite to become the Democratic candidate after Biden dropped out of his re-election campaign.

As the country prepares for another difficult election season, Curry clarified his stance on one of the candidates he recently spoke up about.

Stephen Curry claims to use his influence to go against Donald Trump in November

Everyone knows Curry has been an outspoken critic of Trump ever since he won the presidential seat over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race, criticizing the man running for a White House return for his inflammatory rhetoric.

While he condemns the attempt on Trump’s life, he reiterated his belief that there should be space for Trump in the American government. He doubles down on this point by announcing that he’s actively going to push against him in the coming months.

    Per The Spun’s Matt Hladik:

“Maybe,” Curry told Jericka Duncan back in March if he’d ever consider running for office. “I have an interest in leveraging every part of my influence for good in any way that I can, so if that’s the way to do it, then – I’m not going to say the presidency – but if politics are a way you can make meaningful change, then maybe.”

While it’s unlikely that Curry would attempt to run for a political office while he’s still plying his trade with the Golden State Warriors, but his statement made it clear how passionate he is for enforcing a positive change for his fellow Americans.

Whether the Baby-Faced Assassin actually pushes through with his political ambitions is an entirely different story, but it’s nice for Democrats to know that they have such a passionate celebrity in their corner.
