Golden State Warriors got back at Phoenix Suns from their match up two days prior but Steve Kerr is still not satisfied as he thought the referees could have done better with their officiating. He can’t help himself but go off on Dillon Brooks because of the kind of physicality they are allowing on the court.
Draymond Green was ejected in the second quarter of the Saturday game after having physical moment with guard Collin Gillespie. He only received a technical foul at first but after aggressively arguing the call, the referees decided to send him out.
Kerr thought that was a weak call, referencing what happened to Brooks and Stephen Curry from their Thursday game. The Suns forward hit Curry in the stomach during the dying moments of the game and was assessed a flagrant one foul.

Brooks reflected on his mistake but did not apologize to anyone.
“I thought he was running to try to get the rebound, so I tried to stop him,” Brooks said told reporters when asked about that bone headed play. “But I’ve been lifting too much.
“Doing what the other guys are doing and lift on game day, bro. It’s just, I don’t know how to explain it. Just gotta figure it out for next game so I don’t do anything to put our team in a bad spot.”

Steve Kerr calls Brooks the dirtiest player
The Warriors coach thought Green should have not been thrown out if only the game officials are consistent with their assessment of the gravity of the physicality.
“How can you not be upset?” Kerr asked reporteres.
“I mean, this is a guy who broke Gary’s elbow in the playoffs, clotheslining him with one of the dirtiest plays I’ve ever seen. So, it’s not like there’s not a track record there. And it’s right there. They look at it. I don’t know what the point of replay is if you’re not going to kick a guy out for literally punching somebody.”

He also accused Brooks, known for his physicality and nasty plays, of purposely hurting Curry.
“So apparently, you are now allowed, this is my take, you are now allowed to premeditate a punch of any shooter who’s left like defenseless,” he continued.
“You can now take a swing at him and know you’re just going to get a flagrant one. So I don’t know, maybe we’ll do that, but probably not.”
