Devin Booker scored his season high 44 points for the Phoenix Suns but Julius Randle sank the game winner for the Minnesota Timberwolves, putting it into waste. However, if only the referees were just consistent with their calls, Mike Budenholzer believes it should have not counted.

Randle pushed off Josh Okogie before stepping to a three-pointer but he was not called for an offensive foul.
Coach Bud thinks Okogie made a good account of himself guarding the Knicks star but the latter received a little help from the ref. The Suns coach thinks the whistle should have been blown since they thought the same play was illegal early in the game.
“Good coverage, good switches. Credit to Randle. He made a tough shot. That’s a push off earlier in the game. Not called a push off late. That can be frustrating. Consistency from the start of the game to end of game,” Budenholzer told reporters.

The Suns are now 1-4 since Kevin Durant has been declared out indefinitely due to a calf strain. They are now 9-5, good enough for a fifth spot in the Western Conference standing.
Devin Booker moving on fast from frustrating loss
“Book, he’s been doing that his whole career. He was hard tonight to guard. He was the only real threat on the floor, as far as creating his own shot. He had it going.”

That is what Wolves star Anthony Edwards had to say about Booker who torched every defense thrown at him. This is huge for the shooting guard as he has been struggling with his shooting since the start of the season.
Book is not getting hang up with the loss though despite his season high. He does not think it is the worst situation he’s been in to.
It’s part of it. We’ve seen crazier situations before. Just stay ready for the next one tomorrow.
