The TCU women’s basketball team is making headlines with their impressive performance, showcasing a remarkable NCAA statistic that highlights their scoring prowess. Following a dominant victory over Louisiana Tech, the Horned Frogs continue to prove they are a force to be reckoned with in college basketball.

The TCU women’s basketball team showcased an impressive performance in the Maggie Dixon Classic, decisively defeating Louisiana Tech with a score of 92-41. This victory marked a significant rebound for the 12th-ranked Horned Frogs, who were looking to bounce back after a tough loss to South Carolina just a week prior. Led by standout Hailey Van Lith, the Horned Frogs dominated the game from the outset.

In an explosive first half, the Horned Frogs embarked on a remarkable 34-2 run, leaving Louisiana Tech struggling to keep pace. Despite an initial lead from the Lady Techsters, the Horned Frogs’ relentless offense and tight defense quickly shifted the momentum. The Frogs shot an impressive 65.5% from the field in the first half, including 50% from beyond the three-point line, allowing them to build a substantial 30-point lead by halftime.

Madison Conner also made a significant impact off the bench, contributing 18 points and hitting four three-pointers, which helped her reach the 1,000-point milestone in her career. The Horned Frogs’ defensive efforts were led by Agnes Emma-Nnopu, who had five steals and ten rebounds, solidifying her role as a key player on both ends of the court.

Along with the big win, the Horned Frogs also flexed an insane NCAA statistic from their game against Louisiana. This can be seen in a tweet shared by the team’s official X account.
