LeBron James continues to amaze. Even though he’s just several months away from turning 40 years old, James is still capable of putting together an electric performance such as the one he had in the first game of Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Cameras were certainly focused on James a lot during Team USA’s 110-84 win over Serbia on Sunday, as it also marked the Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward’s first game in the Olympics since 2012 when the Summer Games were held in London. In one incredible photo, James was seen on his way down after a thunderous dunk against Serbia.
USA Basketball’s official X account posted that image alongside another of James during a 2012 matchup between the Americans and Manu Ginobili and Argentina.
Waited 12 years for this.

LeBron did more than just put Serbia on a poster though. The future Basketball Hall of Famer finished the game with 21 points on 9/13 shooting, seven rebounds, nine assists, and a steal in 27 minutes. Only Kevin Durant (23 points) had more points than LeBron from either side during the contest.

With a win already in the bag, LeBron and Team USA will take some rest before facing South Sudan on Wednesday.
