Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving was the perfect counterbalance, fearless, unpredictable, and electric enough to match Los Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James’ gravity. Irving was a masterful ball handler who can play on or off the ball.
Brian Windhorst says Kyrie Irving was LeBron’s best and most compatible teammate ever: “In my opinion the best, most compatible teammate LeBron has ever had in Kyrie. There were moments where he and Wade were transcendent, there were moments where he and AD were impossible to deal with. The guy who he played with who best fit his skillset was Kyrie, because you need a guy who can handle the ball, that is also awesome off the ball.”

Dwayne Wade is probably the best guard ever at driving to the basket when he does not have the ball. He could also take control of any game when he had the ball to help Bron. They were the two best fast-break players in the league, and Wade would often finish games when it mattered most.
Put some respect on Wade’s name. This is LeBron’s best teammate simply due to the unselfish basketball they were able to play together
The Defensive and Offensive Dominance of AD

Dallas Mavericks power forward Anthony Davis was a much stronger teammate for LeBron. He was picked for the best NBA team and the best defensive team while playing with LeBron. He was great at setting screens, scoring one-on-one near the basket, and was one of the best defenders ever.
Davis does not need the ball to be impactful. He can dominate both defense and offense. He led the playoffs in scoring when he won a chip with Lebron and was the best defender in 2020.
