The Golden State Warriors won by 23 points Monday night against the Orlando Magic, but nobody’s talking about the W. The moment overshadowed their convincing victory when Draymond Green stormed off the court during a third-quarter timeout after a heated exchange with Steve Kerr.

The irony? Green returned to warm up, but Kerr made sure he wasn’t going back into the game. The bad blood escalated to the point that when they spoke with reporters after the game, they still wouldn’t talk to each other.
Seeing the beef between player and coach, many fans turned on Green and began calling for an immediate trade.
Steve Kerr Admits He Wouldn’t Replay Draymond Green
The blowup happened with eight and a half minutes left in the third quarter when the Warriors were down 71-66.
Kerr and Green got into a heated shouting match on the bench. Moses Moody and assistant coach Jerry Stackhouse tried to intervene, but nobody was hearing it.
Then, in frustration, Green stood up and directly headed to the locker room. That was an absolute self-ejection.
“We got into it obviously, and I took the timeout just because I thought we lost our focus there a little bit,” Kerr said. “We had it out a little bit, and he made his decision to go back to the locker room to cool off. That’s all I’m gonna say about it. Everything is private. I’ve got nothing further to add.”
Steve Kerr said Draymond Green chose to go to the locker room after the two had a heated argument during an early third quarter timeout. He wasn’t sent there. Green returned to bench for fourth quarter but Kerr said he wouldn’t have gone back to Green.

However, after nine minutes of cooling off, Green returned to the bench before the fourth quarter wearing his warmups. But Kerr never considered putting him back in. Reporters asked if Green would’ve played again.
Kerr responded bluntly, saying no. “He wasn’t going back in. No. He left. He went back to the locker room. We moved forward, and the guys played great.”
And it worked out. The Warriors caught fire after Green’s exit, with Curry taking control of the offense. He went perfect in the third and finished the game with 26 points.
Jimmy Butler also added a significant 21 to the team’s bucket. The Dubs outscored Orlando 54-26 over the final 20 minutes to cruise to a 120-97 comeback win.
Meanwhile, Green added nine points only in his poor session, averaging eight points and six rebounds. Given that fans on social media made their opinion clear.
NBA Fans Call for Draymond Green Trade After Latest Meltdown
Social media erupted after Green’s toxic self-ejection. Warriors fans have reached their breaking point, and serious trade talk is now a real possibility.
One fan wrote, “Bro really crashed out in the middle of a timeout 😭 The dynasty is officially cooked.”
Another added, “Draymond is toxic. Plain and simple. Amazing that he is still in the league.”
A third noted, “It’s time to trade Draymond! He is a cancer to the team.”
The fourth claimed, “Back-to-back drama: Ejected vs Suns on Saturday, self-ejected vs Magic tonight. Warriors blew them out AFTER he left 👀 Time to trade?”
A fifth one shared, “Time to trade Draymond while he has trade value… 🤷♂️ maybe Dubs finally can get a legit younger big man in the paint.”
A random X user remarked, “Time has finally come to trade DG with no regrets. He’s just gonna continue to escalate the antics when he’s not worth the trouble anymore.”
The sentiment is clear across Warriors Nation. Fans are exhausted after two straight games where the team played better without Green on the hardwood. The math isn’t mathing here, but the result seems pretty clear that Green is losing his aura.
