The Pacers beat the Celtics 98-96 on Monday night thriller with Pascal Siakam hitting the game-winner. But nobody was talking about Spicy P’s heroics because Jay Huff stole the show with another signature reverse dunk.

The 7’1″ center pump-faked two Celtics defenders closing out on his three-point attempt. Then he put the ball on the deck and attacked the rim. The finish? A reverse jam that had social media going nuts.
Pacers Big Man Jay Huff Embarrasses Defenders With Pump Fake Reverse
Huff dropped 20 points on 8-12 shooting against Boston, adding two assists and three rebounds. For the unversed, the center leads the league in blocks this season, so his offensive versatility keeps getting overlooked.
However, fans got to witness his attacking mastery in the second quarter while two Celtics defenders got so close to him. At that moment, any shooter chose to pass or reset the game, but Huff executed a perfect shot fake when the score was 43-44. He left both defenders clueless and threw down another reverse jam.
Sharing the replay of that pump fake reverse, Legion Hoops wrote, “JAY HUFF PUMP FAKE TO REVERSE DUNK. DEMON.”

Huff explained his signature move at Pacers media day earlier this season, saying he’s been finishing with reverses since high school and that fans have come to expect it.
The Celtics had no answer for his clever moves. Boston’s interior defense struggled, as Huff stretched the floor, attacked closeouts, and forced defenders to respect his three-point shot, opening driving lanes most centers don’t have.
Fans Go Wild Over Huff’s Reverse Dunk Obsession
NBA fans had so many jokes to share seeing Celtics’ defense get clowned by Huff. They didn’t shy away from giving a reality check to opposition.
One fan wrote, “Its Jay Huff you didnt need to specify It was a reverse.”
Another added, “That’s just his default dunk package.”
The third claimed, “Dude only ever does reverse dunk.”
A fourth shared, “There’s no dunk he can’t reverse.”
A fifth noted, “He can’t dunk normally.”
The sixth shared, “His dunk package is 99.”
A random X user penned, “Cool dunk…DO NOT put him in the dunk contest.”
The comments reflected what Pacers fans already know: Huff finishes almost everything the same way. Pump fake, drive, reverse dunk. It shows up in every highlight and has become his trademark.
Boston shot just 26 percent from three and dropped its third loss in four games. The Celtics were without Jaylen Brown, but that didn’t explain getting outplayed inside by a journeyman center. Pacers, meanwhile, have won three straight and found their rhythm with Huff giving fans so many things to troll opponents.
