Is trouble brewing in Oklahoma City Thunder? Is it time for them to panic? Shai Gilgeous-Alexander changed tunes about having sense of urgency after successive losses to the San Antonio Spurs and then recently losing to the Charlotte Hornets.

Thunder are now 6-6 in their last 12 after starting the season 24-1. SGA said their current state of mind is no different from last season. He also thought that teams have gotten better compared to before.
“It doesn’t feel different than it did last year. Teams are good. Players are good in the NBA,” he told reporters post-game.
“The league and players are always getting better…and you gotta grow with that or you’ll get left behind. We just have a bad string of games as of late.”

Thunder suffered their second straight loss at the hands of the Hornets at home. It is only the second time they had two successive losses, the last one coming from the Spurs.
They were just listless against the Hornets who broke away in the second quarter with a 34-17 scoreline. The hosts could not catch up from there on.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on how they should respond
SGA scored 21 points, his lowest output so far. Jalen Williams had 16.
Thunder scores around 122 points per game, the second best in the league behind Denver Nuggets. The premier offense was not there in the recent losses. They scored just 97 points against Hornets.
They were held to 105 by the Suns and scored under 110 in both losses to the Spurs. Against the Wolves, they faltered and contented to 107.

Adjustments have to be made and SGA is being patient. He said it is a long season and they will and should respond.
Asked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander what it takes to bounce back from a tough stretch of games like this:
“I guess we don’t have a choice. There are a lot of games left in the season. We’ve won big. We’ve lost big. Some nights you’re going to be bad. Some nights you’re going to be… pic.twitter.com/2gj3f4cpNR
