Several Golden State Warriors personalities said Oklahoma City Thunder might be on pace to match their sensational 2015-16 run. Warriors did not get bored during that run. Will that happen to OKC? Jalen Williams categorically says no.

He explained that by looking back to the worst time the Thunder had, which was only four years ago.
“Winning is never boring. Cause there was a time when some players on our team were getting blown out. Not gonna name names, but we lost by 70. I think a lot of guys still have that in the back of their mind,” he told reporters after their huge 49-point win over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Cup.
Are the Thunder bored with winning? Jalen Williams sure isn’t

The 70-point loss he was talking about was in 2021 when they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies by 73 points one month in the season. They finished 2022 as the second worst team in the Western Conference, collecting just 24 wins.

The 24-1 start matches the Warriors’ generational run 10 years ago.

Coincidentally, they just collected their 24th win on Wednesday against one loss. They are also just one game away from returning to the NBA Cup finals which the lost to the Milwaukee Bucks last year.
Jalen Williams says OKC is still not satisfied
The Thunder are expected to continue to cruise this season as they just flush any challenge that come their way. Williams said they are committed to winning.
He said that is the mantra of the whole squad from 1 to 15.
“You can’t get bored of the process. I think having the kind of line up that we have, at the end of the game, watching them being able to play, they work really hard behind the scenes so for them to get the opportunity to go into these NBA games kind showcase what they are doing and gives a little motivation,” Williams continued.

Superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander echoed the same sentiment during courtside interview saying they are all about getting better everyday.
“We hold ourselves to a high standard… no matter where we’re at today, we want to be better tomorrow.”
…and that’s how you follow up a 68-14 season with a 24-1 start! pic.twitter.com/egihwgCSc6
