Monday was filled with games all over the country and it wouldn’t be a proper game without some killer kicks. I have gone through and picked my five favorite shoes from Monday, with an underlying theme of red.
At number five for Monday’s kicks is Devin Booker, shooting guard for the Phoenix Suns, who brought in 34 points against the Portland Trail Blazers. Booker was in a pair of his signature shoes the Nike Book 1 in bright orange.

Book’s shoe gives him the tools he needs to create piercing footwork. This multi-colored collection takes inspiration from early-morning sunrises. The Nike Book 1 collection includes designs titled: “Halloween,” “Christmas,” “Rattlesnake,” “Sunset,” “Sunrise,” and “Sedona.”
Placing fourth is a forward for the Washington Wizards, Richaun Holmes, who wore a pair of Nike Kyrie 4 in black and outlined in red.

The Nike Kyrie Low Bred was released in October of 2021 and includes a black rubber sole with cushioning and a body made from a light mesh fabric to create a lightweight shoe designed for the basketball court.
Top Three Kicks
Coming in at number three is Nick Smith Jr. from the Charlotte Hornets, bringing in 24 points Monday, the Hornets lost 124-114 to the Washington Wizards. Smith was in a pair of pink New Balance Two.

Built for players who make an impact on the court, the TWO WXY v5’s combination of FuelCell and Fresh Foam X offers responsiveness as well as consistent comfort and impact protection.
In second place for Monday’s kicks is Nikola Jokić, center for the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets won 125-113 against the New Orleans Pelicans, and Jokić put in 27 points in a pair of “Triple Red” 361 Degrees Joker 1.

Nikola Jokić’s first signature shoe with 361sport these shoes contains Qu!kCQTECH for more springiness and comfort. In 2023, they added NBA MVP Jokić to their company, to redefine their passion for basketball and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of high-performance sports.
Taking first place is Ja Morant, point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies who played against the San Antonio Spurs in a pair of his own Nike Ja 2 “Heart Eyes.”

This special Ja 2 references Ja’s favorite Valentine’s Day candy with Air Zoom cushioning and tractor tire-inspired traction combined to help him continue his love for basketball. The “Heart Eyes” design is not for sale yet but there are other shoes in the collection that are for sale.
