Brandon Ingram had to be ultra-aggressive on the offensive end, and he repaid the Toronto Raptors’ faith in him, as he led the team to an impressive 110-99 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The former Most Improved Player of the Year produced a game-high 37 points, seven rebounds, and five three-pointers on 15-for-30 shooting from the field. The Toronto Raptors, who were without the injured RJ Barrett, have now won their last eight games.
“I was actually just looking at this (stat sheet), and said, ‘Damn, I took 30 shots tonight,’ but I didn’t feel it,” Ingram said via Toronto Sun’s Ryan Wolstat. “I didn’t do much of anything last night, so it was finna time I do something.”

“I felt good tonight. Just threw myself out there and was in the flow of the game. I didn’t feel myself getting tired. I just kept shooting. I kept doing what the defense was giving me,” he added.
Toronto Raptors News: Darko Rajakovic dishes on the team’s improving chemistry amid winning streak
The Toronto Raptors’ 13-5 start is the team’s second-best start to the season after 18 games, behind only the 14-4 start in 2014-15, 2018-19, and 2019-20. Despite their winning run, head coach Darko Rajakovic said that this is only just the beginning.

“The most important thing is the character we have. Every single person in the locker room wants to win the game, and they’re extremely competitive. They’re team-oriented guys. They accept each other,” Rajakovic said.
“I don’t think one person in the locker room has talked about the streak. I don’t think Darko (Rajakovic) will let that creep into the locker room. We take it day by day,” Brandon Ingram added.
