Los Angeles Clippers were cruising almost the whole game versus the Brooklyn Nets who just can’t put up a fight. The crowd got something exciting when John Collins and some Nets got into heated argument.
James Harden was on full throttle for fast break when rookie Egor Demin decided to foul him hard with body check that is almost similar to those seen in American football. The 2025 8th overall pick seems to be intent in preventing the Beard from getting a shot and so, he put his whole body on the Clippers star.

Demin probably thought it was just a good hard foul but Harden’s teammate Collins thought differently and so, he made sure the rookie will be reminded.

Commotion ensued as Terance Mann, a former Clipper, decided to rush in and defend his teammate.
Clippers won the game, 126-89.

John Collins open up on bond with Harden
Collins explained the incident saying it is in his mindset to defend his teammates against such physicality.
“It’s everything that I stand for. Whenever I’m challenged I feel like it brings the dog out of me. Especially when you wanna be physical as well and be physical with my teammates,” he said as posted by Clippers reporter joey Linn.

“It turns me up… You gonna go touch Uno I’m gonna come see you too. I’ll be around.”
He also said that he is going to do it for any teammate and noted that his relationship with Harden continues to grow.
Collins had a rough start with the team he joined in over the summer but he is now growing into a significant piece in Ty Lue’s rotation. He scored in double digits 7 of the last games he played for them and coincidentally, they also started winning games.
