The Indiana Pacers are starting to look good after a miserable start through players like Pascal Siakam wheeling them to their first back to back wins. They are receiving an even better news about their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton.

Hali said he is taking the next step with his recovery from an ACL injury that painfully ended his miraculous 2025 playoffs run. He suffered that injury in the second quarter of Game 7 with the Oklahoma City Thunder and his team ended up losing the match.
He has been focused on the recovery since then while also enjoying his time off from NBA basketball. Around six months have passed and he and his medical team are gearing up for the next stage. He will be able to do basketball activities soon.
“Yesterday was six months for me [since the injury]. We’re getting there. Things have been going pretty well. I’m basically doing everything outside of contact right now,” Haliburton said during his first appearance on NBA on Prime.

“Hopefully the goal is by the end of the month that I can start playing one-on-one. It feels like it has been a long journey but we’re getting there day by day.”

Tyrese Haliburton turns to the mic
Fans won’t see the two-time All-Star yet on the floor but those who want to see him may check him through the Amazon Prime NBA Coverage after getting signed as a player contributor.
Amina Hussein, Prime Sports Head of On-Air Talent, said they signed the Pacers star as they want to bring unique perspective from active players through their own perspective.

“I’m excited to join NBA on Prime and share my basketball knowledge in a different way with viewers around the world,” said Haliburton about his new gig.
“This is a great opportunity to give fans an inside look at what it takes to compete at the highest level, in a unique storytelling approach by partnering with an incredible platform like Amazon. The NBA on Prime team is doing something special, and I’m looking forward to helping bring fans closer to the game.”
