San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama did not disappoint on Sunday for Team World at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. From the start, Wembanyama raised the competitive level by playing intensely on both ends of the floor. In the first game, the French star had 14 points, six rebounds and three blocks. Unfortunately for the international stars, they suffered a 37-35 overtime loss against the USA Team Stars.
In the second game, Wembanyama was determined to perform better and get a win. The Spurs star was the only player for Team World to score in double digits, with 19 points. However, they suffered their second loss to the USA Team Stripes.

Thanks to the tone that he set, the others followed him and performed at their best. After the game, first-time All-Star Deni Avdija of the Portland Trail Blazers had high praise for Victor Wembanyama.
“We kind of saw Victor was really competitive, so we tried to give him the ball and go to work, man, because we saw he was really into it,” Avdija said. “I mean, we were just there for each other honestly. Victor was cooking. He was playing good. Just feed him the ball. It’s fine.”
