San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is expected to have another monster game against the Phoenix Suns given how dominant he was in the first five games. The whole was firing on all cylinders with him on the lead, setting a franchise record 5-0 start.

His road to superstardom was on the way but Mark Williams, Royce O’Neale got him on a check point and he was sent to reflect about the game. Wemby only managed to put up 9 points and 9 rebounds in almost 35 minutes of play. He also had six turnovers and was called for personal foul for times.
Almost all NBA teams are looking for ways to stop him and the Suns did it. Now, Wemby thinks the league found a way to contain him. However, he is ready to restart the work to counter whatever it is they will come up with.
“I know our next opponents watched this game tonight, and they’ll take some things away from it,” Wembanyama said.
“The preparation starts now.”

Spurs’ next opponents are the Los Angeles Lakers who are on a three-game winning streak and has a new big man in DeAndre Ayton.
Physicality got to Victor Wembanyama
Spurs coach Mitch Johnson thinks the Suns set the tone early on and they targeted Wembanyama’s game by throwing him off his focus through physicality.
“I give a ton of credit to Phoenix,” Johnson said.
“I think they imposed their will on the game. They were physical, they were competitive and set a tone from the jump in a variety of ways. Their physicality with our players was definitely part of that.”
