The Golden State Warriors made a massive move at the 2025 NBA trade deadline by acquiring 6x All-Star Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat. The move seemingly propelled Golden State into championship conversations.
However, the full details of the trade hasn’t sat well with many Warriors fans.
“No No No” Warriors Fans Erupt Over Full Details Of Jimmy Butler Trade (Report)

Shams broke the following news to the NBA World:
BREAKING: The Miami Heat are finalizing a deal to send Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
Our very own Reign Amurao further elaborated on the deal:
Charania further explained that the deal involves the Utah Jazz. The Jazz will reportedly acquire the German point guard. Initially, the Toronto Raptors were involved in absorbing Kyle Anderson.
However, Charania reported that the deal with the Raptors fell through. The NBA Insider reported that Anderson could be moved or kept. Veteran forward PJ Tucker also gets reunited with the Heat as Utah sends him to Miami as part of the deal.
Butler has asked to be traded from Miami since January. He named the Phoenix Suns as his preferred destination. Talks with the Suns were rampant since the six-time All-Star requested a trade. One of the players Phoenix was open to include in the potential trade was Bradley Beal. However, Beal’s no-trade clause made it impossible for him to be part of the deal and the Heat reportedly didn’t want to absorb his $50 million contract.
When the news broke, fans were quick to react:
