Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry missed six games and had the luxury of extending that rest through the All-Star break. However, he might need more time.
Curry has been sidelined since the end of last month due to a knee problem. He opted not to play in last weekend’s All-Star Game, where he was voted a starter. Unfortunately, he will need additional time to recover.

ESPN’s Anthony Slater said the medical staff is trying to be more certain about the two-time MVP’s condition.
Steve Kerr said Warriors’ training staff and Steph Curry opted against the full workout tonight when he reported not feeling it ready. Called the “runner’s knee” issue Curry is dealing with nebulous.

“[Curry] is going to be evaluated tonight by our training staff,” coach Steve Kerr said.
“But just wasn’t where he needed to be and to go through the scrimmage. And so it’s unfortunate, but we’ll have an update tomorrow after he goes through his time with the training staff tonight.”

The Warriors will return to action on Friday to play the Boston Celtics.
Stephen Curry out, Kristaps Porzingis is questionable
Kristaps Porzingis has been out since Jan. 7 while recovering from an Achilles injury he sustained when he was still with the Atlanta Hawks.
Things have improved, and it’s possible he could make his debut for the Warriors against the Celtics. The latest injury report lists him as questionable.
Kerr said the 7-foot center has already practiced with the team. Porzingis also shared that he is feeling good health-wise.

“I feel good on court. I did a bunch of work before the All-Star break and the couple of days off, but I stayed active,” he said.
Wanted to not take some time off, because I barely played this season. I want to get out there, and I’m feeling good and start building on top of this and finish the year really strong.”
