The Golden State Warriors keep on rolling. On Friday, the Dubs eked out a 123-118 win at home over the Memphis Grizzlies. It was the third victory in a row for Steve Kerr and the Warriors, who also had to endure a hard-to-watch fourth quarter that saw both teams combine for 15 personal fouls and 18 attempts from the free throw.
After the game, Kerr, perhaps thinking of a way to criticize the officiating without worrying about getting fined, shared his thoughts on the seemingly ugly stretch in the second half.
Via Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area:
“It was just kind of disgusting,” coach Steve Kerr said, his ire barely submerged. “The last quarter-and-a-half was disgusting. I felt bad for our fans having to watch what transpired.
“But great win. We’ll take the win and move forward.”

Warriors survive Grizzlies challenge for 10th win of the season

But as Kerr also mentioned, at the end of the day, it was Golden State winning the game that mattered the most. He will take a win any way his team takes it, even if it means having to go through several whistles from the refs.
Golden State used a balanced attack to stave off the Grizzlies, with six Warriors scoring at least 11 points. They were led by Buddy Hield, who came off the bench and fired 18 points. Moses Moody also added 14 points for the Dubs’ second unit.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green each scored 13 points. Brandin Podziemski churned out 11 points of his own to help Golden State get its 10th win in the 2024-25 NBA season against just two losses.
