The Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves match was postponed on Saturday but pushed through anyway on Sunday. The postponement has to do with the ongoing protest against ICE brutality that led to the killing one of civilians. Steve Kerr thought the mood outside was carried onto the arena.

Warriors dominated the Wolves, 111-85, despite Anthony Edwards’ 32 points and 11 rebounds. Kerr thought the arena was in somber mood all through the night.
“Honestly, what I felt was that their group was suffering,” he said referring to Timberwolves team and their fans.
“I thought the vibe in the stands, it was one of the most bizarre, sad games I’ve ever been a part of. You can feel the somber atmosphere. Their team, we could tell, was struggling with everything that’s been going on, with what the city has been through.”

The win ended the Warriors two-game losing streak. The Wolves, meanwhile, have fallen to their fifth straight loss.
Moses Moody agrees with Steve Kerr
Moses Moody also spoke about the situation and he said he sees the protest above his room. He sympathizes with the people of Minnesota.
“I’m pretty high up in my room, so I could see the whole street from, like, how many blocks, like, all the way down.”

“You definitely felt the weight of the city,” he told reporters.
“Couldn’t imagine too many times where that group, that large of amount of people, are together in the midst of a situation like this.”
