Stephen Curry is averaging 43.5 points in Golden State Warriors’ last two games. The results, however, is not going his way as his team fall to a second straight loss.
The Warriors collapsed late in the fourth quarter against the Portland Trailblazers by giving up their 5-point lead with 2:33 minutes to go. The loss wasted Curry’s explosion for 48 points, a tremendous follow up to his 39-point game in loss to the Anthony Edwards-less Minnesota Timberwolves last Friday.

Steve Kerr’s squad came up short on the defensive end as they allowed two players – Shaedon Sharpe and Jerami Grant to score 35 points each while Deni Avdija put up 26. Only four players scored in double digits for the Blazers.
It’s not just the defense according to Curry who just returned from a five-game absence. He thinks they cannot have the right momentum going into games because of the lack of firm rotation.
Stephen Curry covers Golden State’s breakdowns against Portland, organizing around Butler and the value in establishing continuity.
“I’m hoping we can … have sustained run of games where you know who’s out there and you what the rotations are and guys get comfortable.”

Draymond Green agrees with Stephen Curry
Green agrees with Curry. He is not a fan of the team’s current rotation situation.
Green affirms the value in lineup and rotational continuity, but the Warriors have “got to find it first” and notes they haven’t amid their losing.
“You ain’t f*****g winning, you ain’t winning. You’ve got to change something.”

Players are in and out of the starting line up while Kerr tries anyone from the bench as their starter. Previously, Jonathan Kuminga was relegated to the bench in favor of Pat Spencer.
Reporter Nick Friedell observed before the game:
Kerr going with Jimmy, Steph, Draymond, Moody and Post to start vs. Blazers. That is the Warriors’ 15th different starting lineup this season. They’ve had a different starting five in each of the last nine games.
