Milwaukee Bucks haven’t had a good pick since Giannis Antetokounmpo. They could have gotten one last 2024 if only they did good on their promise to a player who is now making a leap for the Washington Wizards.

Kyshawn George is now one of solid building blocks for the Washington Wizards as he show tremendous growth this season. He is currently averaging 15.8 points per game from 8.7 during his rookie year.
He appeared in the The Old Man and The Three podcast and there, he revealed how he almost landed with the Bucks.
“It was very long,” George said when asked about his draft night experience.
“I had a couple teams that I had really good feedback and it was kinda my floor and they didn’t pick me.” When asked who the team was, George revealed that “it was Milwaukee.”
according to kyshawn george, the milwaukee bucks made him a draft promise to pick him and ended up passing on him for the now wizard, aj johnson😯

George would have been a good help for Giannis Antetokounmpo as the Bucks now have a hard time getting wins and help from their current roster.
Milwaukee Bucks draft failures
Wizards pick George at 24th. Bucks got 23rd. They worked out with George and still, they passed up on him and selected AJ Johnson who is in Washington now.
Johnson was thrown in for the deal that sent Kyle Kuzma to Milwaukee in exchange for team legend Khris Middleton.
The 2024 draft is just one of many failed drafts made by the Bucks front office. Reports came out over the summer that they almost had Andrew Nembhard in 2022. They picked Marjon Beauchamp for their 24th pick while Nemhard was selected at 31st overall by the Pacers.

Now, Beauchamp is out of the league while Nembhard was among those who punished them in the last two first round of the playoffs.
Their first round picks in previous drafts are also out of the league now like Thon Maker and DJ Wilson.
