WNBA fans are having a range of reactions to a tweet by an X user calling out Napheesa Collier. The person felt that Collier is not exactly a nice person, garnering plenty of traction in terms of reactions from baller fans.
Collier has created a lasting legacy in women’s basketball, not just due to her prowess on the court but also because of her co-creating the Unrivaled League along with Breanna Stewart. Collier has also been at the forefront of CBA negotiations, arguing for months for a better pay structure for W players. Still, it looks like more than just one person has a bone or two to pick with Phee.

“She thinks she’s a better business person than a group of billionaires. She’s not.” one fan felt.
“(thinking emoji) Many Caitlin fans jumped on the ‘Phee’ bandwagon as their anti Aja go to and now realize that Phee is not much better (shocked face emoji, sunglasses emoji, face with halo emoji, kissing emoji)” another fan said.
“She has that UConn air about her. Likeable to an extent but very self serving, with a dash of superiority complex,” one more fan added.
WNBA Fans Continue To Condemn Napheesa Collier After X User’s Tweet
It looks like many WNBA fans actually do not like Napheesa Collier, with plenty of hate coming from Caitlin Clark fans. These fans feel that Collier has not done enough to support Clark and that she’s only faking her support now as she wants the CBA negotiations to go well. At the same time, there are plenty of fans who feel that Collier is not doing a good job at these negotiations, and that she will end up hurting W players rather than helping them.
“I stopped thinking she was nice after she made CC find out over an interview about what Cathy said about her. CC handled that with grace but Phee was messed up for that regardless.” One fan said.
“after she throws CC in as bait, you still think she is nice? Until shown otherwise, all OG WNBA players can’t be trusted.” One more fan echoed.
“Phee was one of the first people not in a Fever uniform that liked when I got here 2 years ago. She’s very pretty and can flat out ball. And then she opened her mouth. Once, then twice. I tried to let it slide. Now I just thinks she’s another dumb a** with no business sense.” Another fan said.
From here, it seems like Napheesa Collier is getting plenty of hate from basketball fans for the negotiations not going too positively. Regardless of this, the Unrivaled League, Phee’s baby, is doing remarkably well in terms of profit and has already become one of the highest-paying leagues for female ballers in the world today.
