WNBA fans are calling out Walt Clyde Frazier after he seemed to mock Bam Adebayo and A’ja Wilson’s relationship. Adebayo dunked an airball in the recent matchup against the Knicks, and the commentator remarked that Wilson should help the hooper with his shooting skills.
Wilson and Adebayo have been an item for quite some time, and the Aces star did admit some time back that she and her man train together. While that interview got plenty of nods from fans who definitely love the power couple, this particular remark seems to have irked many who criticized Clyde on social media.

“Knicks announcer after the Bam airball ‘Maybe his girlfriend can help him with his shooting’ sigh.” Heat Central tweeted, sharing a video of the viral airball.

“Easy to see why they didn’t want their relationship being public,” one fan said.
“We need bam to be aggressive at all times this team can’t afford to have him only averaging 18 and 9 lastly I’ll say this although he didn’t play well offensively he held KAT to 3 points.” another fan noted.
“Why commentators got everything to say about Bam recently,” another fan questioned.
It looks like many fans did kind of agree with Clyde’s remarks about Adebayo needing some shooting lessons, ASAP. Some fans even feel that the Heat needs to trade the player since he has not been his usual offensive self in recent games.
WNBA Fans Remind That Walt Clyde Is Not Just A ‘Knicks Announcer’
On the other hand, the majority of WNBA fans were definitely angry with Heat Central choosing to call the legendary Walt Clyde Frasier a ‘Knicks announcer.’ It looks like the account did not want to give Clyde any traction and decided to belittle his status to a commentator.

“’Knicks announcer?’ That is two-time NBA Champion and two-time NBA Hall of Famer (player and announcer) Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier. Come on, man.” One fan said.

“LMAO. ‘Knicks announcer’ (rolling on the floor laughing emoji). Only Dwyane Wade is in the same class that announcer. Put some respect on Clyde’s name.” one more fan added.
“That’s Clyde that two time NBA Champion and NBA HOFer Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier you uncultured swine (cold sweat emoji)” another fan echoed.
It looks like more fans were unappreciative of Walt Clyde not being named in the tweet, that the retired champion making such an unnecessary remark on Adebayo and Wilson’s relationship. Unfortunately for Adebayo, the Heat ended up taking a major beating against NY in that matchup.
