WNBA fans are reacting to Angel Reese’s presence in the Team USA training camp. Reese and several other W legends, including Caitlin Clark, have been training together for quite some time.
Of course, since it is Reese, many fans have been bombarding social media with negative tweets. Most of these haters tend to be Caitlin Clark fans who are still peeved by the intense rivalry these two players built up during their NCAA days.

“The USA Women’s basketball team really might be UNREAL (snorting emoji) Caitlin Clark, Rickea Jackson, Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese, Aliyah Boston, ALL ON THE SAME TEAM.” FanDuel Sportsbook tweeted, sharing a clip of the ladies training at Duke.
“Why on earth would Angel Reese be on there,” one fan said.
“Angel Reese grabs more mebounds from her own misses than any player in WNBA history. The stat speaks for itself.” another fan added.
“Angel Reese there to pick up the Gatorade cups next to the trash can,” one more fan said.
Angel Reese seems to be receiving the majority of the hate on social media among all the players in the Team USA training camp, and that truly says something. Reese herself admitted in a recent conversation that she knows only too well as to what she brings to the table for her name to be mentioned in the list.
WNBA Fans Are Excited For Team USA Team With Angel Reese & CC
On another note, many WNBA fans seem to be pretty happy about Angel Reese being a part of the training camp, along with many other legendary players. While some fans are pretty excited about Reese’s presence, many others praised the strength of the entire roster.

“Wait wait lol so Angel Reese playing with Caitlin Clark?!? I though they was beefing (rolling on the floor laughing emoji) they probably have always wanted to play together! I know if Clark had Reese on those teams she would have 1-2 rings from college!” one fan explained.

“With the addition of these players the USA team will have a great bench that could potentially energize the line-up during difficult match-ups and foul trouble.” Another fan said.
“Talent stack is obvious. What’s interesting is how they share offensive load. Too many iso-heavy scorers can backfire internationally.” One more fan smartly put.
This time’s training camp definitely looks pretty talented right from the start. But as fans are pointing out, the girls will need to learn to work together if they hope to bring home one more gold medal for the country.
