Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) is interviewed Friday, March 7, 2025, in a quarterfinals game at the 2025 TIAA Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Ohio State Buckeyes at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

WNBA fans are heavily calling out a tweet that hails Caitlin Clark as an incredible two-way player. The recent debates about two-players in the W stems from Candace Parker refusing to label Paige Bueckers as a two-way player on Monday’s Unrivaled game between Breeze BC and Phantom BC.

Parker felt that Bueckers cannot be labeled as such mainly because she has to work on her defense, which kicked off this entire debate. While one particular fan is sticking to their guns that Clark is indeed an amazing player on both ends, it looks like a large majority of other fans have differing opinions on the matter.

“(Police siren emoji x2) All u (clown emoji)s, argue about 2 way players all you want. Give me a player that can do this aka Caitlin Clark and stretch the defense out 35 feet. It’s called team level impact!! (police siren emoji x2)” mikeaalen112735 said.

“Well her team level impact ain’t never won her the championships,” one fan reminded.

“If she had team level impact her TEAM would have won 1 playoff game out of 2 tries with HER or maybe her TEAM would be natty champs 1 minimum or 2 if she had TEAM impact. You’re the clown that don’t know sh*t about ball bcuz you think a logo 3 makes a player great. Obtuse idiots (laughing with tears emoji)” another fan added.

“Then how come she have NEVER won a title on any level…Learn (basketball emoji)” one more fan echoed.

WNBA Fans Agree With Tweet Praising Caitlin Clark

On another note, WNBA fans are also seemingly agreeing with the tweet about Caitlin Clark’s two-way skills. Clark is indeed an incredibly talented player, but has failed to win a title in the W so far. Nevertheless, fans are still batting for as a champ in the league.

“Planets in the solar system do not have the gravity pull she has on defenses,” one fan announced.

“I hear u,” one more fan said.

    “Logo Level.” another fan stated.

Caitlin Clark did not have a great season last time after injury woes kept her benched for the majority of the games. That seriously damaged her stats and many fans who loved her in her debut year, started doubting her skills after the most recent campaign. Clark has fully recovered since then and is expected to make a solid return in this new year.
