While WNBA star A’ja Wilson and her boyfriend, Bam Adebayo, remain partners, the majority of WNBA Fans couldn’t help but speculate on their own future. During Wilson’s appearance on her BF’s game on Thursday, the Fans stood behind the idea of a future child between the power duo.
For the context, the crazy idea was conceived during the pre-game session by former NBA player Tristan Thompson, saying, “That kid better be a NBA player. He better not be putting boxes up in FedEx. If he gets his Mamas talent and his Dads toughness, it’ll be one of the greatest of all time.”

When WNBA Fans heard of this, they instantly gave a thumbs-up to the unusual vision, even sparking heated arguments on X/Twitter.
One user, @HeIsJordanWare, had a crazy insight into the matter, writing, “For the sake and fate of UsA basketball they must procreate,” claiming that Wilson and Adebayo’s child will be an essential aid to national ball.
However, most WNBA Fans couldn’t help but throw shade at the idea, surprisingly not landing any on Wilson and her skills on the court. In fact, the Fans are skeptical of Adebayo’s own, pointing out his poor shooting.
“Only if the child receives 90% of A’ja’s everything [cry emoji],” one user wrote.
“Moms talent is crazy bam fucking sucks on offense,” one user posted.
“Imagine being a future s**rm with this much pressure on you and your dad hasn’t even released you into an e** yet,” one user oddly remarked.
While WNBA Fans have been in a frenzy thinking about a possible baby between Wilson and Adebayo, the two have made it clear that crossing that line in their relationship is not in the conversation. Both stars are still the faces of their respective teams and are still in their prime. Still, it wouldn’t take long before the Fans’ jokes could actually happen soon.
Some WNBA Fans divided on the Wilson-Adebayo baby topic
Despite the support from many WNBA Fans regarding the potential of a future baby between Wilson and Adebayo, some Fans find this conversation uncomfortable. And it goes beyond just aiming jabs at Adebayo’s skills, but rather if the Fans mess with the couple’s privacy.

One user, @Xtoldmetotweet, reminded everyone that the couple has already answered the question, writing, “Didn’t they already speak on this considering it weird…” Meanwhile, user @olumcjobson considered another possibility for the couple, writing, “They are not even married yet. What if they break up?”
