Caitlin Clark didn’t need a full season to keep WNBA fans talking. Even with limited action in 2025, she managed to hit another milestone that pushed her already massive profile even higher. Forbes listed her as the most powerful female athlete in the world, estimating that she earned around $8.1 million last season across all income streams. That number alone put her fourth among the most powerful women in sports overall, trailing only Nike brand president Amy Montagne, FanDuel CEO Amy Howe, and Saints/Pelicans owner Gayle Benson.

It’s another reminder of the kind of draw Clark has become. Her rise from college superstar to the face of a movement in women’s sports hasn’t really slowed down — if anything, it’s created an entirely new conversation around what’s possible for players in the W. WNBA fans saw her step into the league in 2024 and have been wondering ever since how high her ceiling really goes once she’s fully healthy again.
One fan summed up the moment, writing, “Didn’t play much this season and still raked all of that in. That’s power.”
Another added, “Caitlin Clark’s impact on women’s sports is undeniable.”
A third pushed it even further: “Caitlin Clark will become the 1st WNBA player to make $100 million income. Probably in less than 10 years!”
There are plenty of debates about her résumé — she hasn’t collected the trophies that others in the league have — but that hasn’t really changed the overall picture. Her combination of talent, presence, and personality has pulled so many new eyes into the WNBA that her influence feels bigger than whatever the box score says on a given night.

“Can’t wait to see the finished PE’s”: WNBA fans react to Caitlin Clark teasing her Nike Golf PEs
Clark’s off-court moves also have a way of getting WNBA fans buzzing, and her latest golf fit did exactly that. She gave a quick breakdown of her look: a custom Nike Golf polo with her CC monogram on the shoulder, a matching T-shirt, and a fresh pair of Eastside Golf x Nike Victory Tour 4s. She also mentioned her own Nike Golf PEs were “a work in progress,” adding she’d “need them to be perfect.”
Fans got a glimpse, and they ran with it.
One wrote, “Caitlin Clark’s custom golf look blends street style with the course—those jogger-ish pants and Eastside shoes with blue accents scream her Indiana Fever flair. Can’t wait to see the finished PE’s!”
Another said, “She wanted to say her line. Own that Caitlin Clark.”
A third added, “The CC logo. can’t wait to see videos through the day. Good luck Caitlin.”
