WNBA fans are calling out Candace Parker for saying that Paige Bueckers is not a great two-way player after her Unrivaled debut. Parker spoke with Renee Montgomery during the postgame show after Bueckers’ and Breeze BC demolished the Phantom BC, and announced that the Wings star had much to work on in terms of defense before she can be called a great two-way player, which many fans obviously did not like.

“…Not a two-way player yet! She’s plating a little defense…I didn’t say she can’t be in the two-way conversation. It’s one game, Renee. You threw her into the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George conversation. I’m like, slow your roll.” Candace Parker said.

“She’s the worst kinda vet smh be so intimidated by others greatness,” one fan stated.

“She just mad cause she wasn’t one,” another fan speculated.

“Her hate should ban her from analyzing women’s basketball,” one more fan announced.

Candace Parker has been receiving quite a lot of heat over the last few months for gaining a reputation for dropping controversial remarks on new players, like Bueckers herself. Despite all the hate and criticism she has been receiving, Parker still manages to irate many fans with her opinions pretty often.

WNBA Fans Feel Candace Parker Is Right About Paige Bueckers

On another note, many WNBA fans also strangely feel that Candace Parker is actually pretty right when she said that Paige Bueckers is not exactly a two-way player. Bueckers has proven herself to be an incredible team-leader, right from her collegiate career, but many like Parker feel that she needs to work on her defense.

“She’s right,” one fan nodded along to Parker’s remarks.

    She’s right.

“She’s not though, so there’s that.” one more fan said.

“God help us if someone is saying how it really fkn is lol…just look for ya selves, this time with your eyes open lol…” another fan said.

Nevertheless, Paige Bueckers has managed to already become a sensation in the Unrivaled League, despite having played just one game with Breeze BC. Bueckers was easily the team’s lead scorer and managed to almost single-handedly lead the team to a win against the Phantom BC.

Bueckers is accompanied in the Breeze BC by Cameron Brink and several others, and has made a sensational debut in the league’s second season. Unrivaled itself seems to be enjoying a ton of success after an impressive first season last year.
